PIER 51 has long been a classic place to eat. As soon as you enter the restaurant, you really feel you have „arrived“ and think you have known this institution on Albplatz for ever. Under the heading „Asia meets California“, the kitchen team creates surprising recipes with Asian, Pacific and American components. PIER 51 is also renowned for its lobster, which is always served fresh. Julia Windolf is the charming manager of the extremely friendly serving staff. The wine list contains more than 120 different wines with a large selection of grands crus from California together with some wines from Italy and Germany, and a few from the „New World“.
