Description
The tram depot from 1929 was shut down in 2007 and since 2009 houses the Straßenbahnmuseum Stuttgart. This building reveals its own history and professes the traces of use that have left its intensive use. These traces let you dive into a bygone time.
A unique ambience, with a special atmosphere, forms the framework for your event in the Straßenbahnmuseum. Whether weddings, conferences, birthdays, vernissages, fashion shows, anniversaries or corporate parties – you will not find this ambience a second time. Surprise your guests and immerse yourself in a piece of Stuttgart history. You can celebrate here with up to 100 people.
In our multi-faceted exhibition, you will get to know the highlights of Stuttgart’s tramway history on around 2,500 square meters:
Admire the horse-drawn carriage from the year 1868 and see the development of the models up to the classic GT 4, which was used until 2007. Detailed theme islands open up to you the exciting world of trams.
The oldtimer lines 21 and 23 drive every sunday. Rentals are only outside our opening hours.
